losing desktop settings

Hi there!

everytime I boot up, my settings for two monitors are lost, and so are the cairo settings. What should I do to remain the settings in "multiple screens"?

Apart from that, it has to be said it is great that this is the first Ubuntu (Studio) kinda flavor that recognizes my screens and my graphics card out of the box.
And running reaper without having to do the wineasio voodoo, is really a kickass feature. If I just could figure out how to retain all settings, this Remix_OS is a real time-saver. It has exactly the features that I built into 10.10. Which isnt supported anymore.
